About me

Becoming a psychologist is a marathon, not a sprint. Anyone who has survived their undergraduate degree knows how competitive it is to complete all the hurdles. It takes immense sacrifice and determination. It takes years of hard work to get to the end and having gone through it myself, I have attempted to create as many resources/services to make it easier.

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working in various mental health settings. I was registered generally for 12 years before returning to complete Masters of Psychology (Clinical) in 2023, and gaining clinical endorsement in 2025.  I have also completed postgraduate qualifications in Secondary Education and Business. I have been providing supervision services for over 13 years, and am also approved by the Psychology Board to provide supervision to all the registration pathways. I am also an EMDRAA accredited EMDR practitioner. I really value supervision and the impact it can have on our own well-being, as well as improving outcomes for clients.

I currently run my own private practice on the South Coast of NSW. I also moderate a closed Facebook group supporting provisional psychologists, registrars and early career psychologists: The Provisional Psychologist Network. I give my time to this group because I value supporting individuals early in their careers. I've also spent time creating resources for early career psychologist that I have published on my website. I also have an online school dedicated to training in various assessments and competencies required for early career psychologists.

I have worked in a range of settings throughout my career providing psychological assessment and treatment. I have worked with young people in Out of Home Care supported in residential services, addressing developmental trauma, and at Family and Community Services providing early intervention services for families. I have experience providing treatment in residential drug and alcohol services. I have also worked in both primary and high school settings providing school-based counselling. For the past seven years I have focused on growing my private practice to provide psychological support to clients Australia wide via online and phone services. I also provide a range of assessment services including diagnosis for Autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, personality disorders, trauma, mood, anxiety and memory concerns. I also contract for various organisations providing candidate assessment.

I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TI-CBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Art and Play Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I strive to provide evidence-based treatment that is tailored to the individual needs of each client.

I have an extensive background in the treatment of complex trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), dissociation and substance and alcohol dependence.

I facilitate a range of group supervision topics for clinicians. I also provide supervision services to other supervisors regarding their supervisory roles.

I have a special interest in providing mental health treatment to other mental health professionals, and working with LGBTI+ community.

If you need supervision in any of these areas, please don't hesitate to reach out! I would love to hear from you to see how I could help.
